001 The Void [Dream Event] [Jigoku]
Oct. 22nd, 2009 11:02 pm[It is a blackness darker than night: completely and totally devoid of light, sound, even breath of air. It is the Void, that which predates even the Chaos from which worlds were formed, and in its midst stands one who was there at the beginning. He stands at ease, large blade resting casually on his shoulder, looking as if he is waiting for something. Perhaps he is, though he is not the type who would ever say; his counsel is his own.]
[His movement, when it comes, is sudden and swift: his great blade swings down, gleaming with energy; a crackling bolt shoots from its tip. It seems to expand and explode into the Void; around him, stars, galaxies, nebulae wink into existence, millennia of birth taking place in mere moments, a cacophony of light and sound. He watches it all, silent, impassive; his face shows nothing of his thoughts. The only move he makes is to re-shoulder his sword, the metal and leather of his armor creaking faintly with the movement. Then all is quiet once more.]
[For a moment, a faint figure stands at the god's shoulder, dressed in armor and wielding a large single-bladed sword. It appears almost as a ghost, hazy and ephemeral. The god stands with it in silence for a moment, observing the swirling stars around them, before turning his head the slightest bit to speak.]
Be gone. Your place is not here.
[The shade bows its head and fades from existence, dissolving into motes of light that take their place in the sky, glimmering against the black velvet background. The god bows his head for the briefest moment before returning to his silent contemplation.]
[ooc: This post is part of the dream event. Note that the Fierce Deity himself won't be arriving in the apartment building proper until his second post -- this is sort of leading up to thatit makes sense in my head I swear!.]
